Supply Chain

NACFAM has established a Supply Chain Advisory Council.

Supply Chain Mission: To broker regional, national and international multi-stakeholder activities that enable greater value creation within an increasingly network-centric manufacturing environment.

Supply Chain Chair: Bob Reardon, Jr., Vice President of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics

NACFAM's Current Issues/Programs in Supply Chain:

  • The emergence of new business models in response to performance based contracts.
  • Benchmarking the total cost models for corporate sourcing decisions.
  • Practices and governance impacting the intensity of collaborative network-centric activities.

The commitment for Council members would be at least one annual face-to-face meeting (the annual meeting), a few one hour conference calls and general email correspondence. The Council will have an important role in directing the Annual meeting and AMLF activities on Supply Chain and will help set NACFAM’s Supply Chain policy and research focus.

If you would like to receive more information or sign up to participate in this committee, please email Paul Fowler on the NACFAM staff.
