Technology and Innovation Minimize

NACFAM has established a Technology & Innovation Advisory Council.

Technology & Innovation Advisory Council Mission: To broker multi-stakeholder activities of technologies and practices that enable more “intensive” types of collaborations.

Technology & Innovation Council Chair: Ken Baker, President & CEO, Altarum (ret.)

NACFAM's Current Issues/Programs in Technology & Innovation:
  • Technologies and practices that enable more “intense” collaboration such as open innovation systems.
  • Technologies and practices that support network-centric manufacturing such as interoperability.
  • Practices and governance impacting the intensity of collaborative network-centric activities

The commitment for Council members would be at least one annual face-to-face meeting (the annual meeting), a few one hour conference calls and general email correspondence. The Council will have an important role in directing the Annual meeting and AMLF activities on Technology & Innovation and will help set NACFAM’s Technology & Innovation policy and research focus.

If you would like to receive more information or sign up to participate in this Council, please email Fred Wentzel on the NACFAM staff.
